Excellent paint job, looking good! (although it kind of looks buck-toothed without the lower fenders!!)
Maybe just a severe overbite!
We originally had the lower fenders on but had to remove them to get the lip on the bottom of the upper fenders to clear the fender brace. It was just too much to manhandle!
The paint did turn out well. The secret is assembly without beating everything up. Guess that's why they invented topuchup paint. Fortunately just minor stuff so far.

Looking sweet! Beautiful job!
I went through this recently and I was worried about nicking the corners of the panels and screwing up my fresh paint job. My solution was to put some painter's tape on the corners during assembly. It's easy to remove and doesn't leave a mark - saved me a lot of worry, too.
Looking good! I know you can't wait to put her on the road.
Thanks Bill. Is that a Roddoors overhead console in your truck? I have one I was going to use for the air ride switches and gauges but am rethinking that. Did a pro upholster it?
Yup, the console is from Rod Doors. Works well and I am happy with it. Yes the interior was a pro job. I am a driver not a craftsman. You gotta know your weakness.
the trick to upholstering compound curves is to use a fabric that will stretch in all directions. Most upholstery fabrics have backing that are designed to resist stretch for seats etc. Unbacked vinyls will stretch quite nicely with a little warming, the pro use a steamer to keep from melting it.
That boy is mega-sweet!! Sometimes when a project is rolling I call in sick with WITS disease. (Working In The Shop) PS your wife is pretty sweet too if you can pile parts in the dining room, most of the time even I can't go in there!

I have managed to put a heck of a dent in the parts department! Truth be told, the dining room has been depleted for some time now. Sure was nice while it lasted though. Didn't have to worry about scratches.
The wifey has been a real trooper. She and my daughter even helped us out this weekend by cleaning Big Red up. My wife waxed my Craegers for me and got some sun!
