You got that right!! Lots of Dodges and not to many Fords and we still came in second!!!! But there was a Chebby in 1st. Oh well you can't win them all! Way to go buddy!!!!!
Good run Kevin!! Sorry to hear about your axle. Looks like any money you won goes toward that axle. One good thing about parts breaking, you can upgrade them and not have to worry about them breaking again.
Some sponsors would be nice. I can't believe how the Chevys and Dodges stick together and can find help. I know I have less power than half the trucks that pulled. I do have a few tricks that I will not leak. More fuel would be unbelievable. Over $18k in two years and I still drive it every day. I can't afford too many more broken parts.
you mean 18K in mods to the truck, or is that what you have in it total? you should get some custom BDP injectors that have the nozzles extrude-a-honed for more flow. that is my suggestion, because i also have a nasty injector secret that i will not leak (any more than i have).

Tricks in suspension and set up. I've got 530 stage III hybrid injectors. When the charger is lit there is no smoke! More fuel could get me a few more rpms under load. The sled FPP uses is a speed sled. You have to get it moving fast because it hits real hard at the end.
One of the fastest-growing classes in pulling is now the Diesel Pick-Up division. And with over thirty of the machines on hand at Mercer Raceway Park , this was a tremendous shoot-out for the new USA-EAST point class. Fords, Dodges and Chevrolets all competed, but on this night the GM Duramax powered Chevrolet of Matt Cooper from Portersville , Pennsylvania (photo) took home the trophy. Second went to Brad Deeter with a Dodge/Cummins from Cooperstown while third place was the vastly improved Ford machine of Kevin Barr from Morgantown , West Virginia .
