Over from the dark side
After being a Chevy family for a long time, price, availability and looks have brought us over to being Ford owners.. (F150, Focus and Escape)
So, my new F-150 SC needs a nicer exhaust, bed cover and bed mat (I don't need a full liner, and don't like the plastic liners anyhow).. my Silverado had a nice rubber mat that NOTHING would move on. Can't seem to find anyone selling these for F150's.. (pointers welcomed)..
This is the 4.6L. Any other engine tweaks that would make a difference, filter, different throttle body opening?..
I am a long time FTE member, due to my 55 F100 (460/c6) rod project (see gallery), but this is my first Ford as a Daily Driver. Eventually it will haul the 55 to shows.
I've already read the flowmaster/magnaflow/gibson/borla exhaust posts.
| Oh, and one other thing. I can't believe the wheel bounce I get over small bumps. Are the stock shocks just bad at this, or just set for carrying load? Front AND rear get this shudder.. need to fix asap..

HERE IS WHAT I HAVE DONE SO FAR AND ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE SET UP: MAGNAFLOW SI/SO, K&N FIPK, EDGE EVOLUTION & THIS WEEK WILL BE INSTALLING THE SKYJACKER 3 SUSPENSION LIFT AND BFG AT KO 285 65R 18's. IMO, I WOULD INVEST IN THE EDGE FIRST.
