Red Carpet options
Hi Polar,
Actually to ask questions to a dealer and trust the answer is rare. I have several questions about Ford's Red Carpet option. Here in North Texas several dealers are running ads for XLT Supercrews for $199 with 0 or minimal down. the basis is a MSRP of 31,405, a dealer discount around 5,528 and rebates totaling 4,500 plus 1,500 Fmcc cash and .75% APR. The ballon is 17,272. 10.5 k miles per year 24 month contract
my questions are
1.The RCO is a purchase so should I expect any dealer options I want to increase the selling price but add some to the balloon. I'm thinking any mods I want on the truck need to be part of the sale. (A tonneau cover)
2. Since all miles are .20 over the 21k should I expect it to be cheaper to purchase miles up front IE... the 19.5k option available on these RCO's.
3. Since these trucks are always sold when I reach the dealership Should I be able to negoticate the sales price of a different supercrew and then bring up the RCO and shoot for the terms above?
4. Does Ford have a predetermined formula for setting the ballon payment?
