Hi All. My father-in-law has a 91 F150 5.0 pickup and it started running real bad. Well, he asked if I could check it out and fix it. It's the old son-in-law test, I think! Anyhow I found this site and have been reading through it to get ideas on what the problem might be. I'm very impressed with the info I've found.
So far, I found that some criters have gnawed at the spark plug wires. So I changed the plugs and the wires. I discovered that the three wires leading to the TPS was also bare and actually touching each other. Would this pretty much toast the TPS?
Any info would be helpful.
