Hey Everybody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm still trying to get some info from you all on just waht we'll be doing together. It looks like most everybody would rather have breakfast than steak, but I'd like to be sure. I also need to know how many to expect in your party, so I'll know just how many to reserve space for. Post your answers to this thread, and I and/or Ken will tally it up. I will say that a steak dinner on Saturday, when we can guarantee the highest turnout, may conflict with Ken's duties at the Awards Ceremony and guys like me who'll be there too.

Here's a quickie poll:

1) Breakfast or dinner?

2) Choice of restaurant?

3) Size of party?

4) Suggested time?

My own vote looks like this:
1) Breakfast
2) Haven't decided yet
3) Three - Two adults and a silly girl
4) 9:00AM. Oo

Vote early and often!

Add 5 people for my group, including myself. I will arrive Wednesday and leave Sunday around noon. I prefer dinner, but breakfast is okay with me.

I want to add one more thing: Let Ken and I know when you'll be arriving, and when you will leave.

I'll be there late Friday evening, and will leave Sunday afternoon. I think I may have said that already.

Hi Don,

Add two to your list for Peggy and I

we prefer Breakfast
no preference on location...
somewhere with Eggs and bacon and Pancakes for Peggy

after 8:00 a.m. after all this is my vacation

But, we wouldn't balk at dinner either...but seems that is conflicting with awards..etc..

We will come in sometime Thursday nite probably after dinner though... Staying at the Comfort Inn in front on the Apple Barn Restaurant by the creek and right before Alabama's theatre.

If we can't get a meal organized...let's at least set up a time Saturday somewhere close... the main hall or the picnic area behind the Grand for those who want to meet and see those they've been talking too all year... like say 2:00 p.m. in the main hall...we can sit, cool off and have a little fellowship... for that matter do the meal AND the meet...so the late risers who miss breakfast can still meet up with the others..

just my $.02

john

Any meal at any time of the day is fine with me! I can rise early or late whichever. Keep in mind though, if you do a 9:00 am breakfast out of walking distance from the show on Saturday then there will be no parking spaces when you return! The crowds will also be large at the eat'n joints at this time.

Myself, I prefer sit'n down for grub at about 7:45 - 8:00am and beat the crowds as well as stay close to the show area. Places like the Apple Barn & Shoney's are right next door and both have a buffet breakfast. The Grand also serves a buffet breakfast. By 9am the show is getting well underway! If your a parts hunter then you need to start ASAP! Preferably Thursday or Friday.

Anyway, count me in for TWO! May just be me, but I want to be safe. I will arrive Thursday afternoon. Hopefully early!

Laters....

Dan

Put me down for one participant. I'll be arriving Friday
evening and leaving Monday morning. Breakfast or dinner,
don't matter, and I will be new to the area so no recommendations
for foodage (tasty and reasonably priced sounds good). Um,
lessee.... oh yeah...

I'm arriving Midnight Wed after an all-day flight and leaving Monday Morning. I'll have a car.

Count me in for one at any meal. I have no preference.
