This a 94.5 psd F-350 with 250,000 miles on it. Has been running great with plenty of power, easy starting. Lately I have been getting a surge or power loss/gain which feels like a missing plug would feel on a gas burner. This is most evident after the engine has heated up well, say after a good hour of highway driving and is most noticible in the lower rpm band. It will idle all day without a miss and seems to do well on top end. This happens under acceleration and at speed. I have drained the fuel, tried fuel additives and changed filters several times with no change. This has been going on every work day for several months. Right now it has been at the dealers for a week and guess what? THEY CAN'T GET IT TO DO IT! Any ideas? Thanks.
So each injector senses independently and there could possibly be some kind of blockage to one or more ? or would there be a bad sensor ? I am ignorant of whether the injector relies on the actual pressure directly or on a signal from some sort of sensor that monitors the pressure. Thanks for the input.
