Sounds like you did fairly well but the only picture I see of your truck in there it's still clean.

that pitman arm is one of the most if not most ghetto-fabbed single thing I have ever seen.

He deserves to die.

skip, none of those guys in the mud drag pics were at the boggs on sat .there were 2 trucks that ran the open class with paddles, about half track theres a little hump they had to lift for ,then around the 240 mark they had a really deep hole dug and after that all the dirt from that area was in the last 60',thats where they all stopped .the mug bogg pic #12 is one of the trucks ,hes running around a 600ci bbc with nos, running both ,cut 44 boggers then switches and comes back too run open with nos and paddles.last year they had no problem .theres a couple of guys running 572 bbc"s and a few running 521 bbf"s, in pro stock and thats where they all ended up,unfortunately the open and pro stock didnt run till almost dark

If your talking about the open class cars in the pics, most short run tiem alky burners don't have a radiator, not really a need for it,

An alky burner runns cool, if they are running a sealed system a trip around the block wouldn't event build 100* temp,

If they are running a dry system, (no water at all) just make sure it's a short trip around the block,

My setup just circulates the water through a couple aluminum tubes up & down the frame, at idle it takes 10-15 minutes to build 100*,

Oh yea, when you get your blown open class rail finished you may want to leave the paddles at home during your sunday cruises, (they kill your fuel economy)

Hey Fordsrgrt, what do you mean let off for a bump in the middle of the track,

it sounds or appears as though they let off the throttle for a split second for that hump.last year i seen a couple launch off that little bump without lifting and ended up sideways when they came down.not that big of a bump, but enough of a rise to get some air under them if there not carefull
