I work retail, okay? So this has led me to notice over the past 2 years that people go shopping like CRAZY on holiday weekends. I'm at a hardware store presently. I can't figure out why people don't buy thier barbeque grills ahead of time. Or, gardening stuff. Why buy it the weekend of the events? I haven't loaded so many sets of patio furniture in my life. Why wouldn't people buy this stuff in late March? How many of you do/did shopping this weekend, or any holiday weekend for that matter?

I suppose it's just human nature Ryan. It kinda reminds me of a cartoon I saw under the glass at a parts counter some time ago where the customer is exclaiming to the gentleman behind the counter, "If I wanted it tomorrow....I would have come in here tomorrow!!!!"

 

As a matter of fact I'm getting ready to head out for some new shoes and to price some linoleum. Just been too busy the rest of the weekend, between actually doing stuff and then cooling off afterwards. I hope to swing by Rib America for some overpriced yummy supper...
