On my 97' stroker, I've finally found the fuel leak I've been smelling for about 2 months now. Its to the right of the fuel filter. However I do not know the name of this part (thinkin it might be the fuel pressure regulator). It appears to have treads on one end of the brass? piece and a wire ( i think its red) on the other end of it. I believe this part tells the comp how much fuel to give the engine. At idle it surges a little bit every now and then.
My second problem... After I turn the engine over and it idles for about 10 seconds, a squirting type sounds is heard and the engine pulls down a little bit. This dosen't happen after every startup, mainly when the engine is cold. It only does it for a few seconds then runs fine.
Sorry for the long post... I don't have a computer handy anymore.
