well mainly b-cuz it was like driveing a tank!!! it is very hard to park these trucks(imho) i had the 6.5 ft bed, which i thought was cool untill i saw the 5.5 ft bed so much nicer looking than the loooong 6.5ft. and and mainly b-cuz i was tired of it. but i can say that i may buy another f150 when my daughter starts driveing, it all depends on how they look in 6 years, or so.
2005 scab stx 4.6. well lets see my back side still hurts! right now is not a great time to tradein or sell a used truck. at least it aint down here in san antonio, i say this b-cuz of high fuel cost, it drives down the demand for the v-8 engines that drink a lot of fuel.

It sounds like you are not cut out for a full size truck. The super cab with a 6.5 foot bed is not a big truck. I am not sure that ford even makes a supercab with a 5.5 bed. Only the crew. Then you are right back where you started in length. I have a crew cab with a 6.5 foot bed. 150 inch wheel base. Before this I had a supercab with an 8 foot bed. Now you are starting to talk about some long trucks.
If it makes you happy that you sold it, great. Hopefully you can find something in the future that will make you happy.

I have an 06 5.4 XLT SCAB with a 5.5 bed. 133 inch wheel base. I like it. It turns very tight. A lot tighter than my 94 Flareside....
yup the 5.5ft bed is alot nicer looking than the 6.5ft bed, i think i may try 2 get a harley truck IF they make it with a 5.5ft bed and a supercharged 5.4., but my wish is for the lightning to make a come back, that was a truck, low, sleek, and mean!!!!

Very good choice if you did go for it in the future those harley trucks are very sweeet
I've never seen a scab with a 5.5 foot bed. That is news to me that they even existed. I have yet to see another crew like mine-one with a 6.5 box in a 150.
i have a strange feeling that ford will make a s-charged harley-f150, just look at the old ones, they came out with no s-charger then the next year it had one. as for the s-cab with the 5.5ft bed it was released on the late 2004 build dates to current, as for the 6.5ft screw cab it is a recent release body style, (way too long looking ford me) i wish they still made the full size trucks on the small side, like they did in the 1990's. they made for a sporty looking ride(SO WHAT IF YOU CANT LOAD IT UP FOR WORK!! BUT YOU SURE CAN LOOK GOOD CRUISING TO THE BEACH!!!) oh! bye the way if chevy puts the new style design that the tahoe has on the 1/2 ton truck i think ford may have a little problem with sales. the new tahoe looks great. and this is from a person that use to think chevy trucks were uglier than sin!!!
