Decided to replace my work trailer with a truck.
This will keep miles off my F250 as well.
Uhaul E350 diesel dually box truck.
17ft low rider box.
Believe it or not it was the same price in the end
as just replacing my cracked cargo trailer..
Paid $4500, came with all records and reciepts.
Tranny was replaced 10,000miles ago,
They put a NEW ford(international) engine
in it 3months ago,starts faster tham my truck!
everything works great,ac blow cold,
even radio works though that getting
swapped for the one I used to have in my van.
May need a tire or two in a few thousand miles .
Only bad thing is it has a C6 so no overdrive so if you
drive over 55 the milage goes to hell. So far unloaded it actually got
15mpg at 55.. Went down to 10mpg at 65 though. Top speed is 68mph.
Stil not bad for something this big and shaped like a brick.
Non turbo so I thought it would be a dog but its pretty damn peppy
off a light.Suprisingly so.
Just need to throw some white paint over the uhaul orange,LOL..

 

No turbo and a C-6....that makes it what, about an 84-85 model?

Sounds like a pretty nice trailer.

 

1989,,
runs like a top,then again considering the entire drivetrain is basically new
or rebuilt it should!
Looking into getting the gear vendors unit but honestly
for carrying my gear around I really dont need a speed demon.
