Sad Day
I sold my beloved 1992 Flareside today,I owed it for close to 16 years. The memories of the stuff that happened in it are all good. One of the most dependable vehicles I have ever owned. Thanks FORD!!

i worked on the photoshoots for the ford truck brochures in 1992, 1993, and 1994.
we shot a lot up in lone pine, california where they filmed westerns with john wayne. in fact we stayed in the motel he stayed at. nothing like a dawn photoshoot in the mountains of california in the spring.
first time i saw the new, rounder front end and restyled dash. i knew i would own one someday.

I just about sold my 93 because I wanted a 4x4. Had it out on the side of the road got a call in less than 30 min. The guy said he would let me kno the next day after he talked to his wife. He never called back but im glad he didnt becuase I probly would have sold it. Then next day i decided that i would convert ti to 4x4 instead of buying a new. Only had it for a little over a year so far but it is my first truck and I love it.
