Today I installed my Evolution on my 2006 F150 and took it for a drive with it set on level 2. I got out on a straight stretch of road and got up to about 45 MPH and punched it, the truck went to down shift and then it seemed to pop out of gear and rev really high. I then pulled over and looked at the settings, the rev limiter was at 5600 is this right? I then set it back to stock and then back to setting 2. I drove it again and it did the same thing. In stock mode my truck runs fine and I followed the instructions perfectly. When the module asked me if I wanted to "create a custom program" I clicked "no" and proceeded to load the #2 setting. I would appreciate any help you can provide. I've heard great things about this unit and I don't really want to return it.
you should creat a custom program because you need to adjust your tire size;make sure they are the correct mm.you can find that in your manual.
