Tulsa Speedway
Any one know if the Tulsa Speedway is operating this year? I was thinking about going Friday night since the wife is out of town. It seems that the web site I had saved isn't there anymore.

Tulsa Speedway was closed down when the land owners sued the promoters for more than $30,000 due to lack of payments. 
All of the equipment and assets (except the lights and grandstands) were auctioned off last week.
There are rumors that someone else has purchased the lease and may re-open it next year. I hope they do but won't hold my breath.
I miss that place.
Closest racing on Friday nights is Salina, over past Pryor.

Bad news about Tulsa Speedway
Have you ever been to the JRP Race track on 51 street west of the river? The husband of a lady that Ann works with is out there all the time. I might try to head out there one of these nights.
