Okay guys, here is the deal. yesterday i received my 4.5" donahoe spring hanger kit. since i already have my truck leveled with new springs, i wanted 4.5" in the front, and 4" in the rear. when i bought the rear block, i wanted 4". however i thought it would be a total 7.5" block to add 4" to my stock F-350 block. it was just a 4" block. my tires are 90%, and i will be keeping them until they are worn. however they are 33", and i am not sure how well they will look with a total 6.5" front and 4" rear lift. i think it will look fine, but even better with 35" tires, not 37s. or, my second option would be to put the front stock springs back in, and compromise the ride somewhat and cut the stock block in half in the rear (2") and weld it to the 4" block. however i am thinking of going with the full height lift and get some custom U bolts made, and use them until i can afford rear springs. The new u-bolts designed for the 4" block are 3" too short, so i can have custom ones made. the panhard rod will be fine, as the drop bracket has a spot for 4-4.5" and one for 6-8". what do you think?

I would go the full height lift and get some custom U-bolts made.
You don't want to have to go to the bother of cutting up one of your blocks, and changing back to the standard front suspension - only to want to revert it all back in 12 months time when your 33's are out of tread...
thanks for the opinions. my dad is an ex-machinist, and he kept a watching eye over me. we got the left side down enough to put both blocks in there (i cut the bump stop off of the new one, no need for two bump stops. figured out the measurements, and i need 3" longer u-bolts. stock is 14 i think, these are 15, and i need 18". yes that is alot of block lift (7.5"), two blocks which i will be welding together and gusseting (after all this IS a 7.3 ) and traction bars soon. if this setup isnt what i expected, ill save for 6" rear springs and velvetride shackles. dad is taking the u-bolts to a machine shop locally tomorrow, and i might pick them up after school. i have decided to go FULL LIFT, i set a tire on the axle at estimated (rear) ride height, and i think it looks pretty dang good!
