Smoke Problem
Well this is the first problem I have had with my truck. Last night my truck was fully warmed up, just drove home from work and was getting ready to do to dinner, I left my road to get on the highway and it didn't shift out of first gear and just revved. This is when blue smoke came from either my A/C vents or behind them under the dash. I do have a pretty loud hiss coming from the drivers side, but this has been going on since about 9 months ago. I immediatly pulled over and the smoke cleared and I took off and no problems since. Beats the hell out of me, but the smoke had to come from somewhere. Any ideas. Thanks

wow thats a little scetch! when i blew my tranny it bellowed white smoke, not blue. but oviously thats not your problem since your truck runs. dont know what to tell u, i guess look on the bright side that it wasnt your motor or tranny. although it does sound like u have some tranny issues. there are so many damn wires, relays, and switches with these new trannys, it could be a million things. but to me it sounds like a shift solinoid or relay cut out momentarily.

Well it did it again, almost the same scenerio. I drove home from work so it was warmed up. I shut it down for about 20 min and started it back up and went to the gas station. This time when I took off the smoke engulfed the rear of the truck. I couldn't tell if it came from the exhaust or not. It is either the turbo or the Tranny. The smoke this time was blueish white but it looked like a lot of smoke to be coming out of the exhaust. But th eshift thing was still there. It didn't shift out of first gear. I have several theories, but was wondering if this sound familiar to anyone. I love being original, but not like this.
