2wd E4od = 4wd E4od ???

I was wondering if an E4OD tranny from a 1993 2 Wheel Drive will swap into a 1994 4 Wheel Drive. Both trucks are 5.0 exteded cab short beds. Any idea if the trannys were the same?? Thanks.

They are the same except for the extension housing and output shaft. To change the output shaft EVERYTHING needs to come out of the trans. It's the last part out and the first part in during a build.
