4x4 Swap Question
I have a 92 F150 4x4 short bed w/300 I6 and E4OD and have the chance to buy the same thing in long bed 2WD cheap. Is it hard or even possible to swap the 4x4 to the long bed? It's just that I'd rather have the long bed for hunting but it needs to be 4x4.

You should have everything you need between both trucks except the rear driveshaft which will have to be lengthened from your 4x4 or shortened from the 4x2 and the slip spline at the front swapped.

You would have to use the E4OD because it has the right tailshaft housing for the transfer case to bolt to. Just means a computer and wiring harness swap because the computer controls the E4OD. This is of course if you are putting the 4wd stuff in the "new" truck. Obviously you would need the shifter and maybe pedals also.
