I've ordered a set of BFG All-Terrains (295/75/16) for installation on my '02 PSD. It has the stock suspension and wheels, and I've seen on the National Tire and Wheel website that these should fit with no modification. Anyone else out there running these tires on an otherwise stock PSD?

I am currently running 305/70R16 Nitto Terra Grapplers and I have no issues(stock height F-350 4x4)
I am going up to a 315/70R17 soon, I will have to check out all the fitment issues
Pardon me if I sound stupid but what does 295/75/16 translate to? I know what 37x17x16 means (37 inch outer diameter, 17 inch inner diameter, 16 inch wide)…

The 295 refers to the tire's cross-section width (sidewall to sidewall), which is measured in millimeters.
The 75 refers to the tire's aspect ratio, which is a measure of the tire's height as a percentage of its width.
The 16 refers to the diameter of the wheel the tire is mounted on.
I found a tool on the Internet that allows you to enter these values to determine the tire hieght, which resolves to 33.42" tall.
May I ask what you are paying for your set of tires, I also have an 02 with 78000 miles on stock tires and am thinking of doing same thing as you. Thanks

I was quoted $206 per tire (which included mounting/balancing/valve stems, etc) from my local BF Goodrich retailer. I had some other work done as well, but the total was around $880 for everything.
I also have the 295/75/16 bfg at. What are you guys running for tire pressure
Well, the little sticker on the fuel door says I should be running 60 lbs. PSI in the front and 70 lbs. PSI in the rear, but that's for the stock 265's. The rating on the tire sidewall lists the maximum PSI (cold) as 65 lbs. PSI. I went with 60 in the front and 65 in the rear, but you also have to consider whether you're towing or have a load in the bed.
I read that a good test of proper inflation is to draw a thick line across each tire with a piece of chalk and then drive it for a couple of tire rotations and then look at each line. If it's worn off in the center but not the sides, you have too much air pressure. If it's worn off on the sides but not the middle, you have too little air pressure.
