2 wheel to 4 wheel
I was wondering how hard it would be to make a 78 shortbox 2 wheel drive, to a 4wheel drive 3/4 ton. I can get a hold of a f-250 4x4 long box complete truck with a bad frame. I wasn't sure if the transfer case mount holes were there or the different steering box location, or stuff like that. Has anyone ever done this, or will the suspension and driveline parts from a hiboy fit. What would be the best way to go or would there be to much work?

Alot easier to just buy a shortbox 4x4. If you're going short wheelbase you'll want to start with a mated t-case f-250 4x4 frame and cut it down. The 2wd shortbed frame is a ton of work to convert to 4x4.
