Rattles!
Also regarding my 05 XLT, I have located two annoying rattles. One is really a squeak in the dashboard-passenger side. It comes from in front of the little plastic cover near the window. If you remove the cover, there is a screw there. By actually LOOSENING the screw, the squeak happens at a lesser pace. As it happens, it goes away by pressing the dashboard down right near the window. It seems like if you lessen the "stress" on the screw, it goes away. Anyone else have this?
There is a REALLY ANNOYING rattle that happens from the second-row middle seat. If it is in the all-the-way-back position, it rattles around like crazy. If you move it up even one position, to all the way fully forward, it totally stops. The configuration of the other two seats calls for the middle seat to be in the all the way back position the have an even surface. Anyone have this happen?
