I would like to remove the rear block under the leaf spring on my 87 f-150 4x4, so the back will drop, and level out the truck. Is there any repercussion to doing this? I noticed all the 2wd trucks don't have a rear block. my truck never leaves the pavement, so I'm not worried about clearance. thanks Randy
Thanks for the reply its a 2" straight block with that arm on it for the bottoming out rubber that hangs on the frame. do you think I can remove it without causing any problems?
im not sur eon the exaqct spec for your truck, but torque to around 85 ft lbs
make sure to recheck the Tq a few times within 500 miles after the install
its not good but people doit all the time....they stretch when your torque them and its been said its bad to reuse them becaus eof that. you can get a set made at your local spring shop for cheap
