HID & Projectors
So I see a few different after-market projector lenses for our headlights, and I also have seen a few H13/9008 HID setups for our trucks. Both seem to be cheaper than i thought, around $290 or so for HID's and about $150 for projectors. The HID's also seem to be plug & play, pretty easy install.
It sounds like for around $400 you could have a pretty sweet true HID/Projector system, and with all of the money we spend on mods, this seems to be one of the cheaper, yet more stunning mods one could do, yet I haven't seen that many posts regarding accomplished HID mods. I see a few questions here and there, but no pictures in galleries.
Has anyone tried purchasing a set of projectors and then pairing it with an HID setup?
Or better yet, has anybody successfully installed HID's?
My next question is, I have been seeing "Dual Beam HID Kit[s]" advertised. Does this solve our "no high-beam with HID" problem? Or does "dual" refer to something else?

I'm figuring you'll probably get some "strange" feedback on the "Plug'n Play HiDs....
It looks as if your using the stock housing of the truck that was orignally designed to work with Halogen lighting..If I remember correctly thier should be quite a lengthy thread on the HiDs for the 150 on this forum somewhere.
I however, have installed a few different types of projector lamp kits for myself and friends. I had to tweak the alignment after the install of the projectors. The difference in the set up of the halogen fixture and the Projector set-up required me to raise the Beam height. Oh Btw... my projector's do look similar to the ones pictured off eBay.
I am still on the hunt for a set of (true)Hid's that "look" similar to the now existing projectors.
