Congrats on your new ride. I've got 13,000 on mine and I've still got the grin.

Just rolled 30K and there is no way this grin is going away anytime in the near future.

the grin will stop when something major on it breaks....say about 7 years from now and 200k miles later...........but then you realize one second later thats its the best truck a person can own, get it fixed and keep driving!

i have had mine since november, my grin is still there! i love my truck, the supercab is a great improvment over my 95 f350 regular cab. oh yea, the diesel is great!

Thanks. I love every minute of it, but I miss working out of my E-250. Oh well, I'll have to tough it out.
BTW- I had line-x done at the dealer and that stuff is unreal, as long as you put a sheet of plywood on top so you can slide stuff in and out.

Also just got the roll and lock bedcover, another must have.
Tires will be soon and after some break-in time, engine mods.

Smiles?

i have had my 2004 F-350 Crew Cab with the 6.0 L adn finally quit smiling for the moment. I have gone through 2 EGR valves, 2 EGR sensors, 2 EBP (Exhaust Back Pressure ) sensors, an EBP tube cleaning, and 1 turbo charger assembly. All within under 24,000 miles. Now my check engine light is on again with a code of P1331 (no clue on what that is besides a powertrain fault, and now it sits at the local dealership while i continue to make my 600.00 a month payment. I love the power but is it worth it to pay that much when it cant be driven?

the powerstroke grin never fades! i had a 2001 7.3l (best truck ever, i kick myself everyday for selling it. pics of both trucks in gallery) i tried to save some money by downscaling to a f-150. that lasted about 5 months. then i had to eat the difference to get back into a f-250. now im back with diesel!

6.0L Downloaders

I was just curious if anyone has tried the bullydog downloader yet? I have been wanting to try it but have heard that using them can cause piston burn up. Is this true or just something dealers tell you to keep you away from them? I would like to get a few more ponies out of the engine but not at the cost of meltdown or anything. What about Edge or Banks prducts?
