waiting for my x
Hi folks, just reading thru the site and thought I should say hello again. Still waiting for my friend the dealer to find me a decent x for my work. I will fill you in or at least ask all those annoying repetitive questions soon!

Me too.... got to wait for him to locate the right one for me. He runs my local dealership so it is good to let him do his job and find "the one". No idea if it is a v-10 or diesel yet. Sounds weird huh? Not knowing what I am about to pay for?
Just have to trust as he is a good friend with a lot of experience in trucks and all.
It is sort of fun just giving him some parameters and colour choices and let it go!
Really looking forward to the new ride though! I have been quietly running through a bunch of threads here and really appreciate all of the opinions I have found.... what a bonus to be "armed" with ideas on what to fix right away (the roof racks apparently) and what to pray for (no plugs blown out on v-10) and see what others have been through.
The wait continues!!

I played the waiting game for mine. I gave him a price and milage range that I had to stay within. I started in August and told him that I needed it by the end of the month. That got pushed back a few months because I had to wait longer to get my foster kids. We got the final date for the kids and it was Decemeber 30. I gave him that date and he said he would keep looking. I drove the thing home on December 29. Go figure! It was well worth the wait.
