M5OD, Shifting troubles
Hey i have a 96 F150 XL with the good old I6 and crapy M5OD with 2.73's (Non L/S) out back, and 171,000Km on the clock. its giving me trouble getting into first when down shifting and sometimes 3rd will be a pain but it will drop in after going back to 4th then back to 3rd
the slave was replaced a while back and the clutch is good so notes the shops papers. its a new to me truck a while back
I'm thinking of changing the Diff and trans fluids since i dont know when they were last done. diff lube is simple, but im not sure what to pick for the trans.
is the shifting problem a sign of larger problems down the road?
