i was at my little sister in-law's high school graduation last night, and when we were walking back to our vehicles at the end of the ceremony, i saw this jeep gun it up this little dirt burm. when the guy hit the top there was a loud bang and i could see his rear drive shaft hanging down!! the guy was walking around looking for what was wrong, so i walked over and told him and that he could put it in 4-hi and drive home...the whole time trying so hard not to let out the laughter i was choking on. i ended up walking away with tears in my eyes! the graduation sucked, but that made the whole thing worth while. the guy wasn't even in highschool, but i guess the temptation of impressing the highschool girls was just too great.
You shoulda told him thats what happens when you don't grease your muffler bearings. And then taken his driveshaft and ran. (Just kidding(No I'm not)).
man yalls replys have cracked me up. its always funny when people trying to show off get messed up.
when i was at the beach last week, this moron in a stock ranger EDGE!!!!! got his self buried in the soft black wet sand mud up to the drivers side mirror. good thing two guys with winches came along to get him out, or the tide would have came in and washed him away. i just wish i had pics of it.
I was wheelin in my stock samurai on sunday and there was this guy in a nissan following me around trying to show off, it was lifted with like 31s on it while my sammi has wussy 26s on it. so i go through this pretty rough spot (relative to the mod level) and made it fine, he then tries to go trough the same spot and could not make it, he worked his truck over good and finally made it up, then he gets out and talks about how my short wheelbase made it easier and all but in reality his driving skills were on par with my 14 yr old sisters. actually my sister could probly out drive him, it was pretty funny.
It could've of been worse, the driveshaft could of broken just before he topped the hill, then he would of had decent backwards all the way down the hill. That would of not been fun.

kind of off topic, but samuris seem to surprise everyone whos never been around them off road....i know i was the first time i drove one. they arent much bigger than some of the new utility fourwheelers

I used to have Zuk and those things rock. They are gutless as could be but you can swap in the bigger Sidekick engine and they do okay power-wise, mostly because they're so light. They'll fit anywhere, they're CHEAP to lift and parts are pretty cheap too. I wouldn't mind getting another one.
[QUOTE=proeliator]Whoa...who hit you with their magic fairie wand and turned you
I cirtainly don't feel as manly when I drive the samurai, but I definately DON'T struggle with that my problem with the samurai is I get better gas mileage than oil mileage
It won't let me post my message b/c it is too short? why is it doing that?
i drove a sammy with 27 all terrains and tried multiple times to spin the tires on pavement. rev it way up in 1st and drop the clutch.....stall, not even a chrip
tried multiple times until i blew up the transfer case
