I prefer the electric choke because I tend to forget to push the choke **** back in on the manual after it's warmed up...plus the aggravation of having to run a choke cable. If you live in a warm climate you probably don't need a choke. Here in the Northeast you need one year round. Also, Holleys tend to need more tinkering (adjustments) than Edelbrocks.
