buffing compound
have painted my 48 f1 with base coat clear coat from ppg. turned out very well, wet sanded with 1500 to 2000. my question is .. can you buff aND POLISH THIS BY HAND OR IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE.. I DONT HAVE THE EXPERIENCE TO USE THE ELECTRIC BUFFER OR POLISHER..thanks for any info. you guys can give me joe black..

you wont get a proper finish by hand, you will be able to get a "good" finish with a LOT of elbow grease..
using a machine sander is not that hard you just have to keep of edges and go slow, dont try to rush the job, one trick is to mask the edges so as not to buff through them and then hand polish edges after if you are not confident with a machine.
