I notice a little rattle type of noise from my front lately. I suspect that during some flooding we had a little while ago, I had to drive around a bit and may have washed some of the grease out of the wheel bearings.
Can these wheel bearings be greased? Or is it more likely the auto/lock hubs? Any suggestions would be appreciated before I tear into this. I have to rotate my tires, I figure while Im at it I will take care of whatever I can while doing it.
Front wheel bearings are a sealed unit/hub.But inside where the axle stub goes through into the hub is a set of needle bearings that should be cleaned and grease.4xhubs can be cleaned and greased also.Replace the o-rings when putting back together.
