Anyone know what type of carburator should be on a 67 f-100 4x2? The mechanic that rebuilt mine says that what I have now is not correct. Never gave it much thought since the truck was working when I purchased it but now has one tough time starting. Thanks jim

We do need to know what kind of engine, also look at the carb for numbers. I think Dennis is wondering if somebody put an air pump on your '67. If that's the case, your mechanic is certainly correct. You DO have the wrong carb.
