harmonic balancer

Help! I'm trying to remove my harmonic balancer to replace the timing gear.

I have a harmonic balancer puller kit, but none of the bolts thread into the holes on the balancer! What size thread is tapped into the three holes on the balancer?

Figured out the holes were clogged with dirt. I ran a 3/8-16 tap through them to get the screws for the puller in.

Mine fell off, how do you put the harmonic balancer back on - what mounting hardware is needed (lost all that stuff). Unbelieveable !!!!

To put it back on you use the stuff that fell off and you don't have--the bolt and a thick (1/4")flat washer are used to pull the damper back into place and hold it there. Don't remember the bolt thread, but should be a grade 8 bolt.
