64 Engine Swap
Hey, Im new th this site and I recently obtained a 1964 Ford F100 shortbox fleetside. I have just been offered a 352 out of a 65-66 ford F750 and I wondered if the motor would fit... My motor is an inline 6 and has a 3 on the tree i also need to know what trannys would fit and if the instrument cluster from the 750 would fit... thanks guys/girls

it will fit but you will have to change the springs or else you will not keep tires on the front due to toe in and camber problems a fmx o fordomatic should work but on a manual you may need to modify your floor pan for a shifter

Sorry to use the "C-Word" but how is the Ford 6 banger in comparison to the old "stovebolt 6?" I'm thinking that the 6 might wolf less gas if it is matched with a rear ratio that is good for highway driving. It is clearly less popular than the eights, but was it a good motor?
