Ignition cylinder?
01 F250 diesel, lately when I turn my truck over it won't crank (sometimes). If I jiggle the shift lever (automatic) it will start. Now sometimes it won't crank unless I put it in nuetral. Any ideas? The truck has 96k miles. I'm thinking it's the ignition/key cylinder or is it something to do with the shifter?

Sounds like it's the neutral safety switch. On the older trucks it was mounted on the side of the tranny where the shifter lever goes in. You have a newer truck so I am not sure exactly were it is, but I would look on the driver's side of the tranny, behind the shift lever to see if it's like the older models.
