Headlight Question
When did Ford switch over to the "square" headlights? I know my 78 SuperCab has the round headlights while others have the square? Did folks just switch out to square lamps for this year?

It was delegated by the trim package. There were Custom, Ranger, XLT, Lariat all within same body styles. In 78 Custom base models got the old round headlights. Not to say that Custom always meant plan-jane. It means Custom, as in pretty much everything was dealer add-on.
