Very clean plugs
I put in a new set of spark plugs about a week ago. According to the book at the auto parts store, the ones I bought are the replacement for the old ones. I took a plug out yesterday and was suprised to find it absolutely clean. The porcelain part was white and the electrode parts were a dull grey. Is this a good thing or a sign of too lean a mixture or too hot a plug? I recently put a set of headers on just before the plug replacement (broke a plug during install)...could they be causing a lean mixture?
The truck is running great, runs strong with no pinging so I'm tempted to think its OK but I'd hate to damage something.
