Edelbrock Performer 600CFM Tuning / Setup
Does anyone have any resources on setting up and tuning (i.e., mixture setting, vac lines setup, etc.) on an Edelbrock performer carb? I recently installed the Edelbrock Performer RPM kit in my '69 F100 302, Cam, Intake, and Edelbrock 1406 600 CFM carb. The engine runs, but as soon as it starts the rpm goes high and it doesnt idle where it should be.
The idle screw is back all the way down and the choke plate is barely open. Does anyone have any ideas what else i could check i.e., mixuture, vac lines, choke setting, etc. ?
