Hi, everyone. I am new to this website, but not new to Power Strokes. I began with a 1995 F-350 crewcab, put 145,000 miles on it, then a 1999 F-350 crewcab, put 135,00 miles on it, and now have a 2004 F-350 crewcab with 38,000 on it so far.

I guess I am in the majority of Ford Powerstroke users in that I have never had but one problem on any of my F-350s, and that was a vacuum pump on the 1995 at about 130,000 miles. I do almost 85% of my mileage on trips of 250 miles or more hauling light or no loads in the bed. I get great mileage at 68 mph on the interstate (I-10 mostly). I am really pleased with Ford trucks and the Powerstroke engine. Jim Haynes

Hi Jim,

Glad to have you on board. We have a huge Powerstroke user base here in our diesel sections. Lots of knowledge there to help you get the most from your 6.0L, whether that's mileage, or power. Great thing about the 6.0 is there is so much aftermarket support for it.

Thanks

Thank you for the welcome. I am enjoying learning how to maneuver through the FTE pages, and already come across a few hints which will serve me well. Again, Thanks. Jim Haynes
