leaf spring shackles

leaf spring shackles
i am about to notch the rear frame rails and flip the axle on top of the leaf springs and add some lowering blocks. will i need to change the shackles? i was thinking no since i was notching the frame. any feedback will help.

as far as i am aware from my readings on this subject if you are only doing the flip you wont have to change the shackles as the actual motion of the srings is not being changed, only the diff itself, keep us posted on how this goes as i am heading down the same road shortly
