Low tech gas thieves

The new way of stealing gas that I heard on the news is they just drill a hole in the bottom of your gas tank and let the gas drain into a can. So much for locking gas caps and anti siphon filler necks.

Should be real easy with a jacked-up 4X4, but let them try that with a slammed vehicle!

Whatever happened to a 3 foot section of garden hose and a thief with 87 octane on his breath?

I doubt they drill, probably more of a puncture.

Drilling could cause a fire, i also support the "puncturing" theory.
