Regulator for a 56?

Regulator for a 56?
I am a new owner of a 56 f-100 with a 272 y-block. The battery keeps dying and then needs to be charged back up. From what I've been reading it sounds like this could be caused by a bad voltage regulator but I havent been able to track one down anywhere new. Does anyone know where I can purchase a new one from? Thanks,

NAPA carries one- MPE VR412SB, for $24.99 (gone up a bit since I've bought one last...). You'll want to verify that #with them & compare it to yours, as it replaces only certain OE regulators, apparently.
You'll also want to check cables, terminals, grounds, & the generator or alternator output first, if you haven't already been down that road.
