Mod Happy!!

Hey guys how it going. I've been busy in the last couple of weeks. I finally got my gauges installed!! Yeehaw! And i had a rain day yesterday so i dropped the tank and fixed the return line so no more cavitation. After that i did my pre pump and pre pump filter! Only thing is i need to get a rebuild kit for my holley blue pump. Gasket has a tiny leak under pressure. Other than that it works great!! One thing though. I ran the tank real low so it would be light when removing. After i was done the gauge read 1/8 of a tank (which it was reading before the install) After i was done the truck started and than died after about 15 seconds. The pickup in the tank was sucking air. I could hear it through the filler neck. After adding 5 gallons of feul it primed back up. I never let the truck go under 1/4 of a tank. Now i really know how well the gauge works (not very). I will post some picks later. I still have to post some picks of my ccv filter for a few guys. Sorry its taking so long. Been busy with work! Well have a good one and i'll talk at ya's later. Happy modding!!

the tank level indicator sucks. it should be read by weight, not level. i pull some pretty steep inclines to the Tech Center every day,and i can watch my gauge go from 3/4 at school to 3/8 at a stoplight on a hill, and back to 3/4 going up the next hill. i go by the miles to empty on my overhead instead of the float.
