tapping
Im back once again with this stupid ticking noise coming from that dreaded 2.9 i soooo want to replace.
I changed to oil today, and tryed a mix of high mileage
penzoil with a qaurt of "marvel mystery oil" (dont know what thats gona do to my engine). It runs with that same tap, but i have seen improvement.
Originally, if you started the engine up, it would make a very very loud taping noises, and quite down a bearly audiable (with hood shut) tapping. Now, once started, it dosent make any noise from the drive train, but then after running it starts taping that same quite way.
From how its acting, can anyone tell me what might be the problem here?
I suspect the oil screen on the pic-up tube. Do you think an engine flush is in order for that?
