1 piece door window
I could use a little input if anyone has put a 1 piece glass in the doors of a '48 F1? The two edges of the lower section of the doors aren't parallel. I can line up the bottom of the window channels to make them parallel but the top of the doors where the glass starts is also off a couple of %'s. I put a straight edge on the lower section of the door and when it got to the top hinge, it started to kick in a few degrees. With a lot of trial and error I'm sure it can be done but a little help would be nice.

Welcome to the forum, I purchased my 1-piece door glass kit for my 51F! from John's F-Fun Hundreds in Buena Park Ca. I installed it per the instructions included with the kit and have had no problems with it in the last two years. The glass will follow the rear track just as the orginal glass did. The front will need the extensions installed and lined up like the rear track. When the window is down and in the rear track there is only one way the front track can sit. It allows the glass to follow the rear track. Yes they are not parallel with the upper window frame because of the way the door curves. But like I said, the rear channel down inside the door doesn't change from the orginal window travel.
