fire order
can any one tell me how to read the fire order for my 360 engine it reads 15426378 does it mean that the number 1 cylinder goes to the number one sparck plug number five to the second cylinder 4 to the 3 two fourth six to the 5thsix to the 3 seven to 7 to the seven 8 to the eight cylinder.

The cylinders number; right front as #1 and right rear #4; left front #5 and left rear #8. The dist rotor rotates counter clockwise. So #1 on dist. to #1 cylinder then the next one on the cap (counterclockwise) is #5, then #4, etc to the last one is number 8.
