Good day to everyone! I'm happy to have joined your forum(my first). I've owned my 1980 F100 for nearly 3 years. It's the first truck I've owned. I wanted something inexpensive, reliable and simple to work on, so it had to be a Ford. So far I'm reasonably happy with the old girl, but at the moment I'm waiting for a tow truck to drop it off after getting halfway to work this morning.
We are happy you have chosen the best source for Fords!

A warm welcome to a fellow Nova Scotian! Good to have more local content on the Forum. I myself drive an F100 but it is an 83. It is also my first truck and I have owned it since 1997. Bought it from the original owned in Berwick.
Your truck looks like mine is supposed to. I'm picking away at it to improve the appearance. I bought mine from a guy in Eastern Passage who got it from a relative who put a '75 302 in it after the timing chain let go. That makes it interesting to get parts for the engine. Had to go to 3 separate stores for a cap, rotor and wires. It's originally from Alberta, and has a '79 build date. The odometer looks like it has rolled a few times. But I'm pretty happy with it (most of the time).
As soon as I can get my digital cam back from one of my wife's Grade 11 students, I'll get some pics. But I'll warn you, she hasn't had an easy life.
Mine was used as a farm truck by the original owner so she looked a littel rough around the edges but was solid. It cleaned up pretty good. It could use a paint job this summer as there is a little rust above one of the wheel well on the box and some surface rust from the nicks received during daily use. It has been my daily driver for the last 9 years... winter and summer.
