hi i have a 1994 f-250 and i am having a big problem but am not sure if it would be the ignision coils or the carborator.
so heres the thing it runs find all the time but when it rains and been sitting it is almost imposible to start one or two cylinder will turn on everyonce in a wile rocking the whole truck before stalling and even after if dose start and you give it alot of gas it starts going and then the engine bogs down but after 20 mins of so of it being started it will work again.

Welcome to FTE! First, unless your truck has a different engine in it then there should not be a carburetor. Usually when a truck is hard to start in the rain it is because there is moisture in the air. It finds it's way to the engine bay and causes problems.

First thing I would change (because it is cheaper) is the distributor cap. If you want next time it doesn't start pop it off and see if there is moisture inside. If you do end up changing it then change the rotor as well.

Another thing that could be the problem is the spark plug wires get cracks in them. To see if they are good or not wait until it is REALLY dark out. Pop the hood on your truck and start it up. Look under the hood at your spark plugs. If you see sparks from around the wires then they are pretty much done.

Good luck!
