Gas tanks

I have a 69 F250 with the tank in the cab. Its time to get rid of that tank. I want a tank outside of the cab. What year, model, and position tank will fit? The sending unit in the new tank will work with the old gage display correct?

Aaron, any aux. tank from a ‘67-’72 will work. The ’69 and below tanks will hold more due to no evap. crap inside taking up the space.

Do a search on this site (the search link is at the top of the page). There have been lots of threads about adding frame tanks to 67-72 trucks. Also check the tech articles, as I seem to recall there being one or two tech articles on the subject.
