Question 63 ford ranchero

I need some advice. I am wondering if there is a frame kit that I have to buy to drop a 5.0 EFI motor into my 63 ranch. Also if you have any tips/tricks to get me going on restoring my 63 please let me know. Thanks.

I have seen the Falcon Rancheros with the 289 engines in them, not sure if they were a bolt in deal. But if the 289 would go in I'm sure that the 5.0 will go in. Dearborn Classics has a lot of good parts for the Rancheros.

The 260 V8 was a factory option in 1963. The 5.0 is a derivation of the 260. Using 1963-1965 Falcon frame mounts and insulators will let you bolt the 5.0 into the 63 Ranchero. Trans mounts aren't quite as clear. The trans you use will dictate which mount you go with. The Falcons had a cantilevered spring mount, unlike other Fords. As the previous post indicated, Dearborn Classics, as well as other Falcon vencors, should have the pieces to complete the install.
Good luck
